The Core Quality Measures Collaborative (CQMC) is a public–private partnership convened by AHIP and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The CQMC has updated nine core measure sets for 2025, introducing new measures focused on complications, disease control, avoidable utilization, patient experience gaps, care coordination, and specialty performance, while retiring outdated or unused measures to maintain relevance for value-based payment.
