12/22 Email Re-Share: PRMR Next Steps - Preliminary Assessments and Education Meeting Follow-Up

By: Meridith

Dear Hospital Committee Member,

Thank you for attending the PQM Pre-Rulemaking Measure Review (PRMR) Education Meeting. If you haven’t yet, please create a PQM account to access the PRMR Workspace. We are aware of and addressing login and password reset issues raised during the meeting. We also have a Workspace User Guide attached to this email.

Below is a summary of next steps and participation opportunities.

  1. Preliminary Assessments (PAs) for measures included on the 2025 Measures Under Consideration (MUC) List are now available. We invite you to review the PAs in preparation for your Recommendation Group (RG) meeting in January. Learn more about PAs and Battelle’s evaluation process in the PRMR PA Methodology document and How to Use the PA reference guide for committee members.

Accessing Measure PAs

  • Visit the PRMR measure page. Filter the measures by selecting your committee from the drop-down menu.
  • Select the measure title to open the tabbed measure display.
  • Download a PDF of the PA by selecting the Downloads button in the upper-right. Repeat this for each measure you wish to review.

For help using the tabbed display, watch this brief video.

Completing Optional Pre-Meeting Initial Evaluation (PIE) Forms

PIE form submissions are not required this cycle due to the MUC List publication delay; however, we encourage you to use these forms to prepare for measure review discussions. Access PIE forms from the tabbed measure display page or use the attached Word template.

2) Written Public Comment Opportunities: Now – January 6

As a committee member, you are welcome to participate in Battelle’s public comment opportunities now open through January 6.

4) Recommendation Group (RG) Meetings

Please plan to attend the virtual Hospital RG Meeting 10 AM – 5 PM (ET) January 12 - 13, 2026, to discuss measures on the 2025 MUC List. For this cycle, Advisory Group members will attend the RG meeting as non-voting participants due to the delayed MUC List publication.

Joining the Meeting

  • You will receive an email from ‘PQM” or “Host” ([email protected]) 1 week, 1 day, and 1 hour before the meeting that includes a unique link to join the Zoom Webinars meeting. Please add this invitation to your calendar.
  • Use the unique link to join the meeting as a panelist. Please do not share this link because it is tied to your name and email address.

Preparing for the Meeting

  • Review the attached “Recommendation Group Meeting Measure Review Discussion Management” handout that summarizes the revised PRMR voting structure.
  • Downloadable Preliminary Assessments (PAs) will be published on December 22. Please review PAs for all measures assigned to your committee. We will email you once they are available.
  • Agendas and meeting slides will be added approximately 1 week prior to the meeting.

5) Cross-Committee Discussion of MAHA-Aligned Measures

All PRMR committee members are invited to a cross-committee discussion of MAHA-aligned measures on 9 – 11:30 AM (ET) January 14, 2026.

Joining the Meeting

  • As noted above with the RG meeting, you will receive an email from ‘PQM” or “Host” ([email protected]) 1 week, 1 day, and 1 hour before the meeting that includes a unique link to join the “2025-2026 PRMR Cross-Committee Roundtable: Administration Priorities for Quality Measurement” via Zoom Webinars. Please add this invitation to your calendar.
